These animals have a tenacious nature and great courage, that is result of a thorough breeding process. These dogs are very swift, as well as very strong for their size, which makes them very dangerous when provoked. What increases the danger of these animals is the fact that many owners abuse them, and train them for fighting purposes.
The Rottweiler at times poses dangers to law enforcement personnel. The Rottweiler is usually a mild tempered dog, but abuse, and aggressive training by owners can make them very dangerous. The Rottweiler is a very large dog, and is tremendously strong. Law enforcement officers encountering tenacious Rottweilers, often have to resort to putting these animals down with firearms, in order to prevent potential harm to themselves or other members of society at large.
