Lynchburg City Neighborhood Watch Program
The Lynchburg Police Department's Neighborhood Watch Program is a very successful one which boasts 33 programs and over 15 meetings per month. Our neighborhoods have helped with many diverse areas like helping with National Night Out, neighborhood clean-up projects and assisting the police department in abating crime and arresting criminals. They often give insight and experience to issues unique to that neighborhood and know their neighbors, often for generations. Their sense of pride and respect for each other shines every time we call on them for assistance. They are a wonderful example of the quality of citizens located in the City of Lynchburg.
